Wedding Day Coverage

I believe in maintaining a very discreet presence at the wedding. My goal is to create a compelling account of the day as it happened. The best film will result when you and your guests feel comfortable and unaware of the camera. I shoot with two small cameras - usually handheld except during the ceremony - and use a small, on-camera light only when necessary. I generally won't ever direct action or stage poses for the camera. I also don't approach guests and ask them to "say something for the camera" or anything like that.

Editing & Delivery

Editing is sometimes the funnest part of the process. Before editing, I have a discussion with you about your musical preferences. I like to get an idea of what kind of music you like, if you have any specific song requests for the film, and if there is anything you specifically don't like. Some couples prefer to leave all of the music choices up to me, and that's okay too.

The first thing you recieve from me is the Trailer. This is a short cinematic version of the editing compressed down into just a few minutes. I'll send this to you first via the web, and it's a great film to share with friends and family.

The main part of your wedding package is the Wedding Film. This is a creative edit combining music with audio and film from the wedding day into an entertaining account of the day. This part of the film will contain a condensed version of the ceremony and reception. The wedding film usually runs 20-30 minutes.

Finally, your DVD or Blu-Ray will include an Extended Scenes section. This is the part of the film that contains your complete ceremony and all of the special dances and speeches from the reception. This section is not set to music but uses natural audio from the wedding day.

Wedding films are usually delivered within one to two months of the wedding.

Photomontages can be prepared in advance of the wedding to be screened at the rehearsal dinner or wedding reception.
